My Lenten Promise

So Lent is upon us again. This year, just like last year I will be giving up eating after 9:00p.m. I gave this up last year and at times it was very difficult. Not only is this a sacrifice for me, but it will also be good for me. I will also be giving up drinking pop. I believe giving up these two things will be a difficult sacrifice and also help me be a better, healthier person in the long run.

I'm keeping this post short because I'm hoping more people will read it and reply to it. Leave me a comment about what you will be giving up for Lent. However, I will once again add a YouTube video, because I love adding them to my posts.

  1. I'm giving up making excuses for not exercising. So my goal is to work out at least 3 times per week for at least 30 minutes each time. Seems relatively small, but in a busy mom's schedule it's hard enough to get any workouts in at all.
